All orders are packed and dispatched by Goldland Co Pty Ltd (ABN 11 701 085 163), trading as Goldland Manuka, from 41 Gillies Road, Burrum Heads QLD 4659.
Processing and dispatch
We aim to dispatch orders within 2–3 business days of receiving cleared payment. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding Queensland public holidays.
Orders placed on a weekend or public holiday are processed from the next business day. During sale periods, new season releases and the pre-Christmas peak, dispatch may take slightly longer — we will let you know if there is a material delay.
You will receive a dispatch confirmation email with tracking details once your parcel is lodged. If you have not received tracking within 5 business days of ordering, please contact us.
Where we ship
We ship Australia-wide and to selected international destinations, including New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Israel, the United Kingdom, Ireland, the United States, Canada and much of Western Europe. Available destinations and live rates are shown at checkout once you enter your address.
We do not currently ship to PO Boxes or Parcel Lockers for international orders, and we cannot deliver to addresses in countries not listed at checkout.
Shipping rates
Shipping is calculated live at checkout by Australia Post based on your delivery address and the weight and dimensions of your order. The exact cost is always shown before you pay — there are no additional handling or packaging fees added afterwards.
All shipping charges are in Australian dollars and include GST where applicable to domestic deliveries.
Delivery timeframes
Once dispatched, delivery is handled by Australia Post. As a guide, Australia Post quotes Parcel Post at 2–4 business days within the same state and 3–6 business days interstate, and Express Post at 1–2+ business days within the same state and 1–3+ business days interstate, with next-business-day delivery only available within the Express Post network (see Australia Post delivery speeds and coverage).
Because we dispatch from a regional Queensland location, deliveries to regional and remote addresses may take longer than the ranges above. International delivery times vary by destination; Australia Post publishes destination-by-destination estimates in its international delivery times guide, and notes those estimates are a general guide between metro destinations only.
All timeframes are estimates, not guarantees. They exclude our dispatch time and may be affected by carrier delays, weather, public holidays, peak periods, customs clearance and other events outside our reasonable control.
Packaging
Every jar is packed for transit protection. Honey is a dense product, and jars are sealed and cushioned to guard against knocks in the postal network. If your parcel arrives with damaged packaging or a broken seal, photograph it before opening and contact us straight away.
Manuka honey is stable at normal ambient temperatures. In hot conditions honey may become more runny, and in cooler conditions it may thicken or crystallise. Neither affects quality or safety.
Addresses, delays and undeliverable parcels
Please check your delivery address carefully before completing checkout. We are not responsible for delays, losses or extra costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address, or by an unattended delivery you have authorised with the carrier.
If a parcel is returned to us as unclaimed, incorrectly addressed or undeliverable for reasons within your control, we will contact you and can either refund the order less the original and return shipping costs, or arrange redelivery at your cost.
If tracking shows your parcel as delivered but you cannot locate it, check with other members of your household and your local post office first, then contact us so we can lodge an enquiry with Australia Post.
Lost or damaged in transit
If your parcel is delayed well beyond the estimated timeframe, or arrives damaged, contact us at sales@goldlandmanuka.com with your order number and photographs of the parcel and contents. We will investigate with Australia Post and, where a product has been lost or damaged in transit, replace or refund it. This is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
International orders, duties and quarantine
Prices at checkout do not include import duties, taxes, GST/VAT equivalents or customs brokerage fees charged by the destination country. Any such charges are your responsibility and are payable by you directly to the relevant authority or carrier. We cannot calculate or prepay them on your behalf.
Honey and other bee products are restricted or prohibited imports in some countries. It is your responsibility to check your country's import and biosecurity rules before ordering. If a parcel is seized, held, destroyed or returned by customs or a quarantine authority, or is refused because you did not pay import charges, we are not able to refund the order or the shipping cost.
You are the importer of record for international orders and must ensure the products may lawfully be imported into your country.
Title and risk
Risk in the products passes to you on delivery to the address in your order, or on collection by you or a person you authorise. Title passes once we have received payment in full.
